MAJOR JUNIOR
The CHL (OHL, QMJHL, WHL) is a major driving force of our Player Advisor Program. Our clients will be promoted and marketed to Major Junior teams with the hopes of being drafted in their draft year. TDH currently has 2 OHL Scouts on staff and 20+ clients playing in the CHL – we’ve had great success in all 3 CHL leagues over the past 15 years. We will help the player through development, exposure, draft preparation, media relations, training camp, contract negotiations and mentoring.
TOP DRAFT HOCKEY & THE CHL
Players from all over the world embark on the CHL each year with the hopes of being drafted to the NHL. The numbers speak for themselves when it comes to the OHL, QMJHL and WHL; the CHL puts more players into the NHL than any other league in the world. With over 42% of the NHL players being Canadian, and 97% of those Canadians coming from the CHL, the NHL Scouts rely heavily on the CHL for recruiting.
The CHL has also quickly become the number one destination for NCAA D1 programs to recruit out of. Since the NCAA rules change on August 1, 2025, D1 programs have committed to over 300 players from the OHL, QMJHL and WHL - that is a staggering 38% of D1 players.
